BUT… I don’t have a mobile phone, I have a fixed line to my phone.
So what app downloable to my PC running under Windows 11 can I use to log again on FB ?

And I am certainly not the only one who does not have a mobile phone…

After you state that a mobile device is not always available, you don’t explain how to get 2FA working under Windows so that it doesn’t need a mobile device! I really would like to know how to do Windows-based MFA. I don’t know if any part of your article answers this question since the steps you give are so complicated. For a beginner, it is unclear what is happening (what each step does and why). You haven’t made the technology easier, because I’m confused and don’t know what to do.
