I do not want to share my life with Google, Amazon, Apple or whomever. I suppose it is a futile gesture since they probably already know more about me than I do. Besides, as the article by Crystal Crowder points out, some voice assistants can’t even call 911 in an emergency. And those that can call 911 cannot be used for locating the caller.

Voice assistants can only be used for trivial questions by the user and for data harvesting by the voice assistant provider.
