How is this “solving” the problem? you’re just buying time until it happens again. I have come across a lot of outlook issues, but the most common I’ve seen is due to outlook not being able to handle huge amount of mail due to its index files, and each time had to re-index, until the next time. To be honest, outlook is not that good, in fact it’s a sad piece of software, I end up switching my clients to google mail and never look back.

Then I go to the task manager and go to details and search for the Outlook.exe file -> end task and after a new reboot of the pc, the Outlook could start again or in some cases there is no reboot necessary.

I work in the IT-Support (Level 1) and solved many issues with this way.
