10 years ago, all I had was my Nokia feature phone and a bare-bones gaming PC. Today, I’m surrounded by more devices than I know what to do with. Still, I have three favorite tech products that I use and love and can’t imagine my life without. These devices get me through my day and add a ton of value, whether I’m at home or on the go.
FYI: going on a trip? Check out these must-have tech products for travel.
1. RTX 3080 Gaming PC
My gaming PC is the one device that I spend the most time with. Whether it’s writing articles like this one or playing a new game occasionally, my RTX 3080 and Ryzen 7 5700X PC is my trusted companion. This PC is a little more special than all my earlier builds, as I won it in a PC-building competition conducted by Nvidia and WD.
I loved putting everything together when the parts arrived. The first game I played on it was Cyberpunk 2077. Even before the path tracing mode, the game was quite heavy for the RTX 3080, which is still one of the best GPUs for gaming. I was able to get only around 70 FPS on Ultra settings.
Besides playing games and working as a freelancer, I use my PC to try out new operating systems using VirtualBox and VMware. As a PC user, I store my media collection, photos and videos, and all my work stuff on this PC. It’s a one-stop shop for the bulk of my work and entertainment, and is at the top of my list of favorite tech products.
2. Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones
Next on my list of favorite tech products are my beloved noise-canceling headphones, the Sony WH-1000XM4. After deliberating for months, I finally pulled the trigger on this one last year, thanks to a great deal on Amazon. The price was irresistible, as these were widely regarded as one of the best headphones you could buy until the WH-1000XM5 came out.
I mostly use these headphones when commuting or traveling for a few days. The incredible noise cancelation, sound quality, and bass help me tune out everything while I listen to my favorite playlist or discover new podcasts. Lately, I’ve started to get into Spotify’s fiction shows that I can listen to when I’m away from my TV.
The brilliant touch controls make it even more fun to use the headphones, as I frequently cover the right ear cup in case I need to talk to someone. The wear detection works flawlessly, and the headphones even adapt to the surrounding environment, like traffic or a shopping mall. I’m still amazed by the battery life of the WH-1000XM4 and don’t think I’m going to change my headphones anytime soon.
Are you thinking you may want a pair of these headphones yourself and wishing you were around for that great deal? You’re in luck, as Amazon is offering another deal on the Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones.
Take 34% off and pay just $228. Use them for gaming, music, podcasts, etc. But if you want to jump ahead a little further, get the Sony WH-1000XM5 Headphones. Take 18% off and pay $328. Both come in Black, Silver, and Blue.

3. iPad 9th Generation
Finally, when I’m done with work and have nothing to watch on the TV, I find myself picking up my iPad 9th Gen to read comics, manga, or the occasional novel. I had specifically bought this around two years back to read comics on a large screen. Debating between the iPad and iPad Air went on for a few weeks before I realized the iPad was all I needed.
I was finally able to complete the Ultimate Spider-Man comics that I had abandoned during my childhood. I even finished reading Attack on Titan on this iPad, as I couldn’t wait for the final season’s part 2 to air. Despite the highly affordable price tag, the iPad’s screen displays brilliant and accurate colors. It’s lightweight enough for traveling and lasts for days on a single charge.
One thing I really appreciate about this particular model is the sturdy screen, as it doesn’t seem to be affected by anything even without a screen protector. I guess the non-laminated display helps here. Next to my gaming PC and headphones, my iPad is one of my favorite tech products that I love to use almost every day.

Whether it’s a high-end smartphone, budget headphones, or a Bluetooth speaker, or another tech product, everyone has their own favorites. As long as the product satisfies your use case and is fun to use, that’s all it takes.
